Last Chance Saloon/ Arrival of the donate button

For maybe a month now I have been asking if worse came to the worst if people would donate to help me meet a penguin. I have no comments on the matter so the answer is most likely a full-gone conclusion but I thought I'd have to try it anyway. Partly because if I fail this challenge I will never be able to forgive me self, until about February and partly because as this was originally for an assignment about web journalism it would be good to show I can use buttons.

Donation

I know people have got a million better things than to help me meet a penguin so if you are even still reading this I am very thankful, page views still go up every time I publish something new so if you are one of the people that makes that happen then thank you again. Many zoos do penguin feeding sessions and they are all around £40 and I am still flat broke so that is the reason for the donate button in case anyone was unsure.

If you would like to make this happen, (I promise I will photograph the whole thing because it will probably be the best day of my life except for maybe when I met Justin Hawkins when I was 13) then please donate anything as small as big or you like. I mean like 50p is ideal. If 80 people donate 50p then I am there I think, my Maths is really that rusty.

There's a thief out on the loose

No i'm not quoting Frank Ocean's Pyramids just to remind myself that I'm supposed to be a music journalist and on the face of it a music blog would have been a much more straightforward idea, but my own ignorance and 'oh everyone else is doing that' way of thinking prevented me from it. So here I am. Penguin-less and with many words left to write. Drinking orange juice and regretting my decision. Again.
I was actually talking about 'Frozen Planet.' I saw it trending on Twitter earlier today (follow me: c00pasaurus) and thought it must have been on the TV as it is still sort of  Christmas and Frozen Planet had snow it in and stuff so obviously it fits naturally into the schedule. Obviously.
But it reminded me of this gem of a clip. Which is why I ever mentioned thief in the first place.
Enjoy reading that? I didn't enjoy writing it either but if you haven't seen this before it will have all been worth it.

Facebook reach out to Penguin author

Last time I posted here I said things were getting desperate, you'll be pleased to here things are still exactly the same. Above you can see I even contacted the author of my life-time favourite book (Can I say that if I haven't lived all my life and read all the books I am ever going to read?) 'Death & the Penguin' which I reviewed in my last post to give you all something to look at.
In all seriousness I am surprised I ever got a reply to such a ridiculous question, there is no reason in the world why a man from Ukraine who ten years ago wrote a book with a fictional penguin as a central character would be able to help me but he still said sorry for not being able to. Which was about as helpful as the zoos. But taking career choices into account he was probably more helpful as it his his job to write books not help a stupid 22 year old boy shovel fish into an emperor penguin's beak. The zoos however have many a penguin and they were as useful as a chocolate teapot.
Ontop of this someone I know (Briefly, she's good-looking so I follow her on Twitter) had a penguin feeding experience thing for Xmas but even past my teenage years I am still socially inept and incapable of asking fit girls questions so I am not helping myself either.
So no I have made no further progress.

CHRISTMAS

I did however get a holographic penguin bookmark for Christmas though which is phenomenal, but if you look at it for long enough gives me a banging headache and then I don't want to read at all. SO I am unsure as to how useful it will be.

If anybody got any penguin gifts for Christmas please let me know in the comments below.

Even if you got a penguin feeding trip, just to rub it in my face.
